God and Family

Something that I have been interested in learning more about has been religion and God.  I do remember hearing about it in the past how people start to learn about what he does and stories of how the world was created, and how life was created, and that all the people that did not believe were people that will eventually become unhappy and be betraying the creator of all of us.  Over thousand of years, millions of years God has been the sign of hope, and peace for all the people in the world, well most of them.  People have created churches songs, books, anything you can think of they have done to get the word of God to travel the entire world.  People nations continents have been with this.  But what if one day people, all the people in the world began to question the existence of God.  Some people say that it is a waste of time to try to prove something like this, when most people believe, and they believe no matter what, even if there was any prof to disprove it, people will still continue to believe in God.  There are some people that completely don't believe in God, and think its just a whole lot of nonsense.  I know that people have stopped believing in God because of their personal problems, and they have no more faith so their beliefs has gone away.  For example in my school I have heard people say that they don't believe in God, just simply because they don't, it does not mean they have no heart of faith, its just that hey don't have that belief, this does not make people mean or a person you should stay away.  It is just how they feel about the subject.  Some of these people just choose not to ask and not to question either, so they are in the middle, and don't believe they exist, and at the same time don't believe they don't exist. 

One thing that I know for sure about God's Existence, is that even if there is solid proof that God does not exist, it doe snot mean that people will suddenly stop believing and continue their normal lives like nothing happen.  People will want to rebel first with the people that are saying that this is a lie and that what they believe is a lie.  All I know is that people will not ask this like something normal, they will do something about it, and will continue to believe and fight for God.  Now I have studied my share of Science, and biology, and some philosophy, and these are some reason the kids are getting smarter in these subjects, and they learn these things that the world was created by the Big Bang, and that the human body can all be explained, and that we have evolved from monkeys form the past, prehistoric mammals and this is what the kids learn, and this is when they start to question the truth, and if they learn and have proof then they must be true.  As the world gets smarter, and the people become more mature, then the belief system becomes less, and the people start to stop believing.  I think, about this topic that he does exist, although I don't believe in anything besides that, I have a belief that he does exist, there is someone or maybe something that runs this entire universe, and that is super natural.  Things that are super natural cannot be explained, but they can be proven and people do believe that they exist.

Does God exist was something important to me because my whole family generation from generation has been strong believer in God and in the bible, and in all the religious stuff, but I have been more liberal, I have not gone to church every Sunday like I'm supposed to, I have not gone to confess like it is said in the bible to get my sins forgiven, but I believe in God, and don't have to do all these things to prove his existence.  I know that in order to believe in God you don't have to follow rules, or do stuff like customs or anything, all you have to do is what you think is right, not just for you but for the people surrounding you.  I also know that the other people that don't believe in god are not bad people,its just that their beliefs are not strong, and they don't want to get into it, they just simply don't believe in God. 

Being that I didn't have a lot of background info on this subject, and enough thoughts on this subject, I choose to do some little research that will help me more understand and see what the thoughts of other people have been on this subject.  I wanted to know how other people felt about it, and how other people have reacted to other similar thing like what I have been doing on with this subject.  As I searched through the Internet looking for info and some research I came across this website "http://christiancadre.org/topics/cosarg.html#gen" this is a good place to see and hear of both sides of the story.  On both the people that believe and the people that think its just something that people are wasting their time on.  I like this website and choose it for my research because it helps see both sides of the story, and that is what I want people to see, I am not biased and I am not trying to make this a biased research I am just trying to put as much fact son both sides of the topic, so that the people may choose an see what the people understand, and what the people are confused about.  One quote I did like from the web link is "While theology may take God's existence as absolutely necessary on the basis of authority, faith, or revelation, many philosophers-and some theologians-have thought it possible to demonstrate by reason that there must be a God."  I liked this quote because I think it really explains what religion is really to people, what God is really to people.  God is the big authority, and sometimes the people that want to argue with the Boss go to jail, but sometimes the rules are unfair and unjust, and like in many cities there are protests, there are protests to the Boss.

In another article, http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Existence_of_God&oldid=254714238 Wikipedia.  on here there was this one statement that caught my attention and which I agreed to was "There are suggestions that other definitions of God are self contradictory."  I like this sentence because, I believe with all the other religions that exist in the world, there are many definitions of what God, is and what they believe he is all about.  These definitions are all different in many perspectives, which cause them to contradict each other. Since each definitions com from each different religion, they end up being different in seeing what it means.  I also think that sometimes in the holy books, there has been some conflicts with contradiction in the rules or spiritual guidelines that people should follow.

 

All this makes me think that these are just ideas of people,and they are so strong that they don't have to be true for people to believe and to continue to practice and continue to do.  I think that people no matter what will always believe and will always continue to live their lives the way they do it today and have been doing it for the past generations.  For what I have learned in this research is that over hundred of years even thousands people will and continue to change and people will continue to see different futures, and someday maybe God may be there or may not be there anymore.  But we will never know for sure until that day comes.
