Happy Ending Version of   "Lazy at work; hard-working at heart"

She sits with everyone
She talks to everyone
But only physically present
Homework is just a distraction

Her nickname Lazy Bug
Its still a mystery where her soul is
So sometimes in search of it
She dances, dances her heart out
Hear the teasers
hear the haters
Her frown is a bad vibe
It will make you feel sad too

"No more!!" she says
Stepping out of her misery
No one can stop her from finding her soul
Now she's happy in the real world
Her family her first priority
Her shyness a thing of the past
She's still a little lost, but today
her smile is more important than anyone's sayings

This is an older version of the poem and a little more sad than the first one

She sits with everyone
She talks to everyone
But only physically present
Homework is just a distraction
Her nickname Lazy Bug
Its still a mystery where her soul is
So sometimes in search of it
She dances, dances her heart out
Trying to bring her world to others
Poor girl, she's always left empty
Shooting stars give her one wish
Her wish? A way to get out,
get out of this miserable world
Her quest for true meaning has ended
She's pale, blank and lost
Her heart is gold but for others silver
Lonely moon quenches for star friends
No one to catch her
No one to care for her
When she dies
Will there be tears in anyone's eyes
