Have you ever...
Have you ever thought about someone
To that point you get a headache?
Have you ever loved someone so much
That they take your breath away?
Have you ever cried so much for someone
That your eyes are baggy and red?
Have you ever gotten that feeling of butterflies
When that person is around?
Have you ever fallen in love
And gave your heart away?
Have you ever locked up your heart in a secured box
So no one can break it again?
Have you ever wondered
What life would be like without him/her?
Have you ever missed someone so much
To the point you hate yourself?
Have you ever wished
That they would touch you the way they used to?
Have you ever felt like you
Can take a bullet for that one you love?
Have you ever felt bad/ crappy
When you see the one you love with someone else?
Have you ever wondered why
You have to say goodbye to the one you love?
I have...

Wow Nice....
Dear Evelyn :
I loved your poem, "Have you Ever...," because i can relate to this poem. I really liked how you put so many question that just captivated you into just reading it more and more as you go down the list.
One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: "Have you ever locked up your heart in a secured box
So no one can break it again?" I think this is true because i loved this line. Yes, i can agree with it and this is the most touching line from your whole poem and i think that it is very cool.
Another sentence that I also liked "Have you ever felt bad/ crappy When you see the one you love with someone else?" This stood out for me because it gives me alot to think about. Just this one line made feel like the expression is just so real that i can imagine myself in it.
Your poem reminds me of something that happened to me. One time it just so happens that i fell in love. So when i saw that the person made me "the news of yesterday", i was broken inside. I know how you must have felt when this happened to you.
Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because i can relate to it soooooo much, thank you for the poem.
