High School Memories
Over the past four years I have learned a great deal in high school both academically and socially. First off, my mind was filled with integrals, graphs, the circulatory system, literature, the biology of the cell, etc. etc. The lists goes on and on. I cannot fathom at how complex our brains are in order to store all this knowledge. But I believe that I have learned a lot more from high school socially. Over the past four years I have realized what it means to be true to yourself. I won't give you the boring details of my social life, but I learned the importance of friendship and the loyalty and care we have for one another. I learned that you can't please everybody because then you will not be happy. I learned that confronting your problems is a lot better and more rewarding than shoving them in a closet and hope they will disappear. I have learned what it means to be a true friend. I have learned that laughter is the best medicine. And I have learned, most of all, that to fully live in this world you must be true to yourself and believe in what you can do. Carry yourself with confidence wherever you go in life because that is what people truly admire about a person.
