History of the Slurpee
While researching more about Slurpees and the products history, I learned a lot of cool new facts that many people probably never knew. It turns out that a man named Omar Knedlik invented the drink by accident when he put some sodas in the freezer. When they emerged they were a slightly frozen drink that many people loved when they tried it. In 1965, 7-11 licensed the machine that made the slurpees and it took off from there.

My search process mainly consisted of typing in the google search bar, “history of the slurpee”. Many options came up, but I recognized a magazine I was familiar with and knew had some interesting information so I continued to that website.
