How am I doing with my OWN work?

In my first photo discussion I wanted to explore more within my theme. I wanted to get images of different types of buildings because I felt that if I did that, I would be able to like my theme more and I would be able to discover new things about my topic. Afterwards, when I took the new set of photos I was able to follow what I wanted to do in my first photo discussion. I was able to walk around the city and get different images of different types of buildings around the city. I found this helpful because I was able to see whether or not I was actually interested in this theme. Then in my second photo discussion, I mentioned that I wanted to take photographs that had more of an upbeat mood and had more "light" but I didn't really follow this criteria after I took my next set of photos. My next set of photos weren't as powerful, I felt that I could of experimented more with the actual things I was photographing. But overall, I tried to follow the criteria to the best of my ability, but my problem might be that I don't know if I want to stay within my topic. I have more of an urge to explore and find something that sparks interest to others and myself. So far I have taken photographs that I am very proud of and I want to continue this because it is important to have a body of work that you are happy with and are willing to share.

Here are my favorite photos so far:
