What I'm good at

Right now I'm thinking about something similar that we learned on Tuesday about Japan. This was about Japan and its movement towards modernization. Japan had to choose whether to stay within their old ways having samurais and swords or modernize. Modernizing is when a nation decides to make itself advance in many ways such a military weaponry and/or fighting strategies, others include technology and having some western ways of life. When Japan did become a westernized nation, it was a controversial movement. Japan traded all of its roots and originality to something new different from what Japan is all about. When you think this....it makes you realize what kind of people would trade their original background to something different from what it is.

It's funny how some nations or countries decide to westernize to a more American way. A great example is India's Bollywood which is very popular in the United States. Bollywood is sort of a movie industry where movies are made for entertainment. India has recently began to start changing its way of making movies and westernizing itself more and more every year. There are so many things that have changed such as the way movies were filmed and the way people acted in movies. When making movies, people just used less technology and more emphasis on the main idea of the movie. Now they slowly are transitioning to way more technology than ever before just trying to make it look better than the main idea.

Frazz

This is a funny because it talks about obesity in America and how it affects us in a bad way because it seems as though it was part of our culture by now.
