How can we better spend stimulus money ?
i found this cartoon interesting because of recent events and issues of spending money that the governement has given us .I like the fact that the new sculpture in the cartoon is a big cement block i thought that was the funny part. it instantly reminded me of what happened with AIG gave its employees bonuses. I think the point is that in times like these bonuses as well as sultures are not very mopney concious and the money can be better used elsewhere.
I think the cartoon is trying to convey the fact that money is very scarce right now and that bigger companies can be using it in a more benneficila way. instead of giving people who are already making alot of money more money there are better places for the money right now. Just like in the cartoon they are trying to say that there are beter places to spend money then on a new sculpture.

I like this cartoon because
I like this cartoon because it is making fun of big businesses' stupidity. But, as you said, it is true becuase in cases like AIG, big businesses are not spending their money wisely, especially in these hard times, and they also do not understand why there is such an outrage about their spending choices. I mean......If businesses are not going to use the bailout money they should not have recieved in the first place, for something important, then they should give it to someone who really needs it for something more important than sculptures and employee bonuses.
