How Can We Save the World from Global Warming?

I saw the speech about ALgore too about global warming and what's going on I believe that many people don't treat this as big issue and just leave it aside and worry about other stuff I mean isnt the earth that we live in important aren't we suppose to take care of it yet we are too busy mistreating it and because of this many animals are becoming endanger species I mean we should be treating this as a major issue and not as a minor one this dosen't belong to us this the place we live in is a loan and if we don't start taking care of it the loan will be over GOOD JOB ANNA MEI ON UR POST

I agree with you. Global warming is really a big problem. However, people don't see it just because the result is cumulative rather than immediate. Although it's true that many countries have already taken actions in order to deal with the problem, we definitely haven't done enough. Since it's a global issue, how can it be solved if most people on the earth do not care about the problem? People are still doing whatever they used to do that kept exacerbating the problem.  

I also agree with you that "everyone should help out with the stopping of global warming not for the humans but also for the animals. The animals that live in cold areas are in danger because for an example, the ices are melting and polar bears live on them. They need the cold ice for survival, that's their home." It's just not fair that the animals are going to be punished for what we human beings have done. What if someone is doing something that will destroy YOUR home? Thus I think we really should be aware of the problem.

Leaders have told us ways to make global warming from continuing. We hear the advices all the time but we ignore them because we still litter. Everyone should help out with the stopping of global warming not for the humans but also for the animals. The animals that live in cold areas are in danger because for an example, the ices are melting and polar bears live on them. They need the cold ice for survival, that's their home.

One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: "I remember a couple of years ago, Al Gore mentioned something about global warming. He gave a speech about it and I found that speech to be very important. He also said that because of global warming, we will all die, I think in 2012 or something. I hope that wont happen because its very early for me, I'll only be 20. I still have a lot of things to accomplish". This stands out becuase Global Warming is important.

Your post reminds me of something that happened to me. One time I saw this movie about Global Warming well not a movie but a docu.

You brought up a very important issue in your post. Global warming is ringing the bells all the time in the media and in political world. I agree with you that the protection of animal habitats is very important. However, we must be realistic, most people will not really care whether an animal becomes extinct or not and would do very little, if any, to prevent it. Most projects protecting animals are brought up in political groups by a small group of experts in their field, and make people aware of the situation, but really if the situation were left for the average people to take care of, I believe many species we are familiar with would have been extinct by now.

Instead of making the point relevant on animals, it would have been more persuasive if your essay would have emphasized the effect on HUMANS rather than animals. Global Warming can cause the sea level to rise in such a extreme way, that scientists believe New York will in the future under the sea! This is due to the melting of the ice caps. I believe people would be more concerned of this rather for the sake of the future generations rather than the sake of some beautiful and exotic animals. This is cruel in some sense, but it is human nature.

Do you really believe the world is going to end on 2012? It'll only happen if you believe it will, and to those who doens't believe it, it'll just be nothing more than a joke. A very cliche joke that's being talked about everywhere and movie are being made about it.

All in all, I believe "A perfect world is a world without mankind poluting it."

I enjoyed your post, Global warming. because you talked about how if we don't stop this, this could destroy us and also the world we live in. I also enjoyed how you descirbed that we need to preserve the animals that live in these places where global warming is causing great change and also detroying their homes.

One sentence that stands out for me is "Everyone should help out with the stopping of global warming not for the humans but also for the animals." This stood out because we are destroying their home when they aren't doing anything to harm us. They also did nothing to harm the earth  or even to alter and change that would affect the world and it's climate.

Another sentence that I agreed with was "He also said that because of global warming, we will all die," This stands out for me because Global warming is almost at it's highest stage, since we are barely doing things that would help the environment. I am also still young and I want to experince aging and I would also want to retire and live the rest of my life either taking care of my grandsons of relaxing with my wife.
