How does fashion and the people's mind relate?

What I'm good at

I was a little undecided about what exactly I am going to be doing my Personal project on, but I was pretty sure it was going to do with fashion, and the people's mind. So I decided it is going to be on fashion, and how it relates to what people think. These topics interest me, and I figured I could put them together to make a really interesting Personal Project, because, fashion has some kind of effect on what people think about.

I like how you came up with your idea. I am undecided about what I want to do, But I am kinda thinking that its gonna be something about photography. And I like how you said your fashion thing well probably be something about peoples mind. I think maybe i'll make my photography like the way people think or their feelings.

I think this is a very good idea for your personal project. A lot of people judge people based on what they where.  Poeple would think they are snobby, wierd, "emo", rich or poor based on what kind of clothes they where. Many people where things because other people where, like brand names, such as UGGs. This would be a very interesting subject to study and write about. I think you should choose this subject for your personal project.

this is a very good idea to investigate and i have a feeling it has something to do with stereotypes and the way a person was raised. i think if a child was raised  in a family where brand names are "everything" they too will wear brand names like the rest of their family. The way you dress can affect the way others think of you and in some cases it may not be a good thing. For example, if you're going to a job interview, then dressing in jeans or everyday clothes will not send a good image unlike a formal suit. This is a really cool idea to research and i am looking foward learning about your final project.

your idea is very interesting. it brings up a lot of different ideas. sometimes the way someone dresses isthe how you get a first impression. but also maybe on that one day they dress a little differently, and then the next time you see them it is completely different. on thing i would like to point out is that someone brought up the point that the way someone is brought up might cause them to dress that way. but sometimes the way they were brought up causes them to dress completely different. and some people change their styles very frequently. or they just dress very diverse. those are just some ideas to think about.

i think that this is a good idea for a personal project. i am also doing something fashion related as well, and i think that it will be interesting to see how you interpret it. i also agree with what hannah said about how people are looked at a certain way because of how they are dressed. That is really true and i think that your clothes say a lot about a person, and how they dress can give you an impression of how they will act and what kind of personality they have.
