Human feet found in Vancouver
Over the past year, on Vancouver Island, something strange has been happening. Human feet have been washing up onto the beaches and no one has any idea to whom they belong or how they got severed. The strange thing about the whole thing is that each foot has been a right foot and has been inside an athletic shoe. Authorities are not certain whether or not all the feet are connected and the case is being investigated. Several ideas are being considered fro how the feet got severed.
Organised crime, boating accidents - even the 2004 Asian tsunami - are all being offered as possible solutions, our correspondent says. Police have said there is no evidence that the feet were deliberately severed or removed by force.
