I don't get Youth Voices yet
I don't care about anything inside Youth Voices, and it does not have something important to me. Because I never go to watch that website, expect in school when I'm in English Class. I do not understand what is it. I just hear my classmates say, I can put music and photos inside. And I can write something inside. It's just like my Chinese Blog. I write in Chinese on my blog sometimes every day or two.
Sometime that would really catch my eye on a blog are food and some beautiful clothes. I think the more you write the better it is. If there is an image, it can make me easier understand the topic.
I wrote about my then and now poems about me on my profile. I have been posting about eating tools.
I didn't decide what to do on Youth Voices next week. I want to know about food and clothing. I am learning about food and eating tools.
The difference between writing on blog and paper is that blog is much easier and faster. MySpace is for fun and Youth Voices is for learning. The difference between my blog and Youth Voices is that my blog is for fun, and it's in Chinese.

So your saying that you dont like hearing other peoples opinion. Or what is going on in the world, to our generation. It's important that you know whats going on in this world at a time like this. Right you may think that the US is in good condition but its not because they are saying that we are all going to die cause we don't have no more oil. The best thing that we can do is talk to each other and help each other in so many ways.

What you said about youth Voices is kind of true. I wrote something similar to that also. Even though I never heard of my Chinese Blog, I'm sure that to you, it's something more enjoyable to do than go on Youth Voices.
Youthvoices is a sight for
Youthvoices is a sight for students to blog about educational things. Thing is, not a lot of people are intrested in actually blogging on things like school. Current events yes, but not on school related things. Plus there are better sights to blog on. I do see your point, and i liked it because it was straight forward.
Some constructive criticism.
Youth Voices is a good outlet for kids to express themselves, and talk about what they wanna talk about. Then again, so are MySpace and Facebook. I feel Youth Voices doesnt have much to offer compared to the other social networking sites out there. I for one, rarely go on Youth Voices. Opinion does matter. But there are other sites out there to do that stuff and have fun at the same time. The main perception of MySpace and Facebook is that its for social networking only. That cant be further than the truth. I've actually had conversations about Iraq, politics, and world issues on Facebook. Youth Voices just needs to spice things up a bit. Cause honestly, what 15-18 year old's life revolves around podcasts?

I agree with you all the way. youth voices is for learning and the only reason I am on youth voices is for my English grade. youth voices is a nice idea but it is supervised and I feel anything you write is wrong. Anyway great post.

I totally agree with you I cant stand it forcing me to speakmy mind I also have a chine blog although I am not chinese hardly go on be cause I have no friends on it.Why cant we just speak or mind thrrough myspace or facebook people would share stuff so much more

You have a point there about youthvoices , but I think that you maybe you should start losing yourself in the website so that way you can find different stuff on youthvoices and see what it really is about. I like youthvoices because you can do just about anything in it and it's good to share music, images and writing with other people you don't even know and that way you can get opnions from all kinds of people and not just the same one: Your Teacher. For us Mr.Allison just let's put atleast 5 comments on youthvoices and then you can do whatever you want. This homework is so easy anybody can do just about 5 comment in like 20 mins, I think it's a good way yto criticize other people's work and how they show different emotion to it. Thankz for wiritng because I do agree that youthvoices can sometimes be boring, but the material inside it's priceless. =)
