What is consciousness? You hit your head and fall unconscious for a while, you wake up on the floor with a bump on your head, now you are conscious. Unfortunately it is not that simple (at least in my eyes). One thing that caught my attention are the Jungian Archetypes. According to Carl Jung, Jungian Archetypes are “innate universal psychic dispositions that form the substrate from which the basic themes of human life emerge.” Can be seen as the DNA of the mind. Human DNA allows us to be different from other species; legs, arms, heart, lungs, hair etc. These Archetypes like DNA, unifies us as a species in the mental world.

Starting from the basics, every person has an ego and a persona. The persona in essence is a “mask” of which covers the ego. An example would be; you and your friend took a test. You received an 85 and your friend received an 90. You studied for 5 hours while your friend studied for 5 minutes. In your persona you will most likely say “nice job! Oh, I only got an 85” but the ego is the one that is saying “what the hell that’s so unfair”. The ego is the actual “you”, how you as a human thinks. The persona is a permanent mask, hiding everyone, including yourself, from your ego. Everyone wears a persona, absolute 100% everyone.

As every person shares similar Mental DNA(mDNA) many aspects of human thought are similar as well. One of which is the denial of this fact, a process called “Self-Realization”.

(Could be that God purposely gave us this attribute to shield his identity?)
Self-Realization is a sporadic process throughout human life (like pimples). It begins at the age of negative infinity, I believe that every human links to each other in some form… ****
Self Realization is prevalent in teenage years, boys tend to be very aggressive and violent. This is an attempt to differentiate themselves from others. According to Jung, around the age of 35-40 people experience a “second puberty” where the locus of attention shifts. In that second phase of life, every person reunites with the species. This can be seen as the life hook(my own name). Every person is a hook, in early stages of life they all try to be different, all to be the same in the goal to become individuals.

If only it was that simple. Self Realization is only in mental form, not in sync with the community. As stated for boys, they are mostly violent, however (some) have developed a more gentle persona to mask their violent ego. Of course violent is not always physical, it could be hostility (ego-wise) towards other people’s idea/morales.

------Skipping a few ideas------ These 2 parts are related, but not yet linked

Every person has a shadow. That shadow is there in a pitch dark room as well, for it is the shadow of the unconscious mind. That shadow, defined by Jung as “The unconscious complex of repressed, suppressed or unwanted qualities of the conscious self”. Part of a human mind is put in keeping that shadow in the unconscious parts of the mind. The shadow however, is NOT the “dark side” of a human’s personality. It is simply the opposite/unwanted parts. For example, men don’t want to show emotions, the shadow in result has a very emotional(not weak) side. Or a very stubborn person can have a very gentle shadow. Referred to as “Gold in the shadow”, Jung conveys the idea that the shadow should be comprehended, controlled, and the better qualities coalesced into the conscious mind.
Even deeper within the confines of the mDNA lies the anima and animus. Anima and Animus in short, are the female component of a male, and the male component of a female respectively. They are not however, exact reflections of each other. Like the shadow, each person will have either anima or animus in them. There are, according to Jung, four stages of anima/animus. I will expand on this later.
