I'd like to forget
In the play "Our Town", the young girl is willing to do whatever to have the opporuninty to go back in time and make a different decison so that they rest of her life could have turned out differently. One simple choice and she could have had her life turn out drastically different, and probably for the best. I think that Alex Rodriguez is wishing the same thing right about now. I am willing to bet any amount of money that he would give anything to go back in time and choose not to take those steroids that have ruined his career. All the steriods have successfully managed to do was ruin his image in the eyes of hundreds of millions of fans everywhere, tarnished his illustrious career, and most likely cost him a trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Do you think that he looks back and thinks that it was worth it? Of course not, but what do you think he would be thinking if he had never been caught? Mayber something very different. We will never know the answer to this question, but it will keep us thinking for years to come. What if?
"Shortly after Sport Illustrated's report on Feb. 7 that he tested positive for steroids during baseball's anonymous survey, Rodriguez hired James E. Sharp, a lawyer whom Reisinger brought in to help him represent Sosa before Congress. Sharp also represented then-President George W. Bush in front of a federal prosecutor."
