What I'm good at

I just read a poem, "Incident" by Countee Cullen. It was really really short and it rhymed. Actually that's the only thing i really liked about. Not that i hate it or anything, but i just don't find it interesting. I'm pretty much not a poetry type person and i don't like reading it much unless its long. If I would ever read this poem by myself...its probably because i have school work to do something.

Hmmmm the only line that occurred to me as amusing was the one that said Nigger on it. Sure maybe I'm being racist, but that was the only sentence that should out me at all. I don't see why, but that's it. Anyway other than that I wasn't interested in most parts. Actually i have more criticism then anything else. What in the world is a Baltimorean? Sure, its a person who lives in Baltimore, but....really is that even a word?

Well i don't know, maybe others would appreciate the poem more than i do since i tend to be picky about what i read. I really am not a poem person and only read poems with long stanzas. I guess maybe that I'm odd for thinking that and make it harder on myself for just reading long essays, poems and such, but that's just me.
