The influence of manorialism and communism
Governments always wanted changes for their societies. In order to change their economic systems, there were different policies to help the society to improve.
One of the systems was manorialism. It was a system which society provided food and crops needed to feed animals by themselves. People in local region planted different crops for their own use and exchanged their crops with other local peole during the Middle Age. As what in document 3, manor was a self-sufficient economic unit view of overwhelming difficulties of transportation in the period. People had international trade because of the demands of wealthy people.
The manorialism system influenced not only local places, but also the whole Europe. It affected local places because local people changed the way how they had food by exchanging but not trading in local places. Also, the lord could be benefited by giving food to workers, and the lord could avoid doing hard work by himself. Ont the other hand, the workers can received food fairly for how much work they did. As shown in document 2, workers did different works could receive different amout of food. If they wanted more food, they just needed to do more work. Manorialism system also affected around Europe. It was because local people bought food by exchanging but not trading. That's why the gold coinage was unessary and it affected other countries which minted gold coins. Also, local people wouldn't sell crops they planted unless for the wealthy.
Another system was communism. It was a system which people benefited fairly whatever their responsibilities were. People who didn't have a work could also have food to eat and people did have a job could get what people didn't have a job got. This system could prevent people from straving and prevent having classes in the society. Everyone was fair under communism. As shown in document 7, the communism was an example in China. It was a state led by working class and based on the alliance of workers and peasants. Moreover, it was an economy which owned by the whole people.
The communism influenced around different countries. For example, China was one of the country which greatly affected by communism. As shown in document 8, because of the influence of communism, Mao proposed that there should be a "great leap forward" into modernisation. Also, because of the unsuitable decision making in the new policy, peole not only couldn't improve their society, they also had a famine in 1960-1961 as they didn't know how to use the new technologies and factories.
The communism idea was started by Russia. The idea spreaded to many countries not only China. As what I know, Cuba was also a communist country. Everyone are equal in this country, they don't have their own properties,. And even they have different jobs, their incomes are still the same. The government pays them a certain amount of money every month. Although they use money, it is not valuable as other places in the world, that's why people always exchanges things they need in daily life.
Governments have different policies in order to improve or change their societies. Manorialism and communism are two of the examples. Both systems are also aims to change their countries' economic status. Although both of them have benefited some people, there is also bad influences globally.
