In the book, "To Kill A Mockingbird," Jem and Scout always call their father by his first name instead of sir. I think this is a good example of how childhood experiences shape the person you become. In this story Scout grows up with her brother and father and she doesnt really have a female influence in her life. This leads her to not dressing or acting very much like a lady, which is also an example of how influences shape your life.

Do you think that childhood influences shape the person you become??

Yes, I definitely think that they do.  If some children don't grow up with a father figure or a mother figure in their life, then they may turn out less girly or manly.

Yes I think that the example

Yes I think that the example of Jem not having a female influence shows that!
