The Invisible Man is About to Be Hunted Down - Finished!
Recently I read pages 195 - 237 in The Invisible Man, by H.G. Wells, and I liked it because the cops right now are searching for the invisible man and trying to catch this invisible man and try to prevent anymore damages or anyone getting hurt. There are signs up to warn the people in the town that the invisible man is on the loose and that they need to catch them. The cops search around and around and then they finally caught the invisible man and the invisible man was just covered in like glass and everything and he was caught dead. Finally their is no more trouble and now people can live in peace.
One line from this part of the book that stands out for me is: "An innocent victim..." I think this is sad because why would anyone want to hurt someone who is innocent. I think that is really messed up and someone should have a heart to care about an innocent person and stuff. An innocent person should not be hurt or anything and maybe he was just trying to help or something.
Another line that I enjoyed was: "Finally we caught him." This stood out for me because he is finally caught and now their would be no more trouble around the town or anything. People can live in peace nows and they dont have to worry about the invisible man coming after them or anything. I think the cops did a good job of catching the invisible man.
This section of The Invisible Man reminds me of something I saw in Youth Voices. DEncarnacion posted "Blacks Attack." I think this was a really interesting post because different races are jumping different races for no reason at all just because they don't like their skin color or anything. These people are innocent people and they shouldnt be harmed at all. Like in the invisible man the invisible man was harming innocent people for no reason at all. People should deserve to live in peace and do whatever they want and to live and love their skin color.
P.S. I am finished with the book.
