The Ipad is the hottest item on the market, literally. Customers have reported their Ipad overheating and shutting down. A user said that if she left the Ipad on her thighs for fifteen minutes that her thighs would be burning hot. This has raised many concerns about safety of the body and of the house. Can the temperature rise enough to catch something on fire or leave burns on the body. An apple spokesman states, “The new iPad delivers a stunning Retina display, A5X chip, support for 4G LTE plus 10 hours of battery life, all while operating well within our thermal specifications. If customers have any concerns, they should contact AppleCare.” I worry about the future of technology and health concerns. Sometimes I feel my Iphone overheating and when that happens I turn in off. We should work to fix these concerns so that our health is not in danger.
