Israel vs. Iran
Most humans probably can't remember a day when there hasn't been some sort of conflict going on in the world, but specifically the Middle East. Over the course of the past year we've seen riots break out, economies collapse, leaders been thrown out of power, and sometimes killed. There is always some new problem arise, and recently that has been the tension between Israel and Iran. For many years, these two countries and the people who reside in them have disliked each other. Until recently, Iran hasn't had any sort of nuclear capabilities, because what most people around the world are hearing is that they might and probably do. This "rumor" among other things, has caused the tension between Israel and Iran to become much greater than in recent history. They both are constantly bickering back and forth to one another, but since Israel thinks Iran has a nuclear bomb or bombs, it's only gotten worse.
Last week, a bomb went off in Israel killing Israeli officials. The bomber was never caught either because he got away or because he blew up with the bomb, but because it killed officials of the Israeli government, the Israelis put the blame on Iran. They believe Iranians were the cause of the bombing, and because of this they both got even more riled up. Because Israel is a United States ally, we hold much of the same concerns that Israel does. If Iran does start some sort of war, whether it be nuclear or not, the United States is obligated to get involved. These most recent bombings have put a scare in many of the Israeli people, which is why the United States along with Israel, is trying to prevent anything else from happening before all hell breaks lose.
