Japan Earthquake in McKenzie Miller's Eyes

When I read about McKenzie Miller’s quake story I was shocked at these series of unfortunate events.  McKenzie went from scrambling out of her school while experiencing the violent shacking of the ground to experiencing harsher than expected aftershocks.  She then realized all the phone lines were down so there was no way in connecting with her parents by calling them on her phone to make sure they were unharmed by the disaster.  After waiting an hour and a half in the schoolyard for the streets to be clear her and other students were finally allowed on the buses for a ride that lasted from 4:00 to 11:00.  After this a couple of days later McKenzie was forced to take a flight out of Japan to LAX due to the radiation in the air and how it could possibly be harmful to the human body.  McKenzie took part in all of these emotional events and had to experience the actual earthquake and its effects 

personally and live.
