Josh Powell Killed in an Explosion
Earlier today, Josh Powell was able to visit with his two sons. What was supposed to be a routine supervised visit, soon turned deadly. As a social worker took the young boys to their father's home, she was not let inside.
She knew something was wrong when she smelled gasoline and quickly called her supervisor. Moments later, the house went up in flames. Josh Powell and his two sons were killed.
Investigators are certain that he did this on purpose. Just before the explosion, Powell sent an email to his attorney saying, "I'm sorry, goodbye." A relative of the family stated, "We never contemplated the idea he would do something like this. You just don't expect it from a father," he said, "His world was falling apart around him and he was going to lose his boys and get arrested for Susan's disappearance. He's a narcissist and he has no love for anyone but himself."

I am shocked by your post "Josh Powell Killed in an Explosion" because how can someone kill himself and kill his sons with him, like yeah they took your kids but why kill them? It doesn't make sense they didn't have anything to do with what you did so why take there life? this is just horrifying.
One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is " Moments later, the house went up in flames. Josh Powell and his two sons were killed." This stood out for me because this guy planned this.This shouldve not ended like this, yeah if he wanted he couldve taken his life but why the kids and that young, this is like something cruel.
Another sentence that i upset me was "Powell sent an email to his attorney saying, "I'm sorry, goodbye." The attorney should have called the cops to see what was going on instead of keeping it and moments later find out his house exploded with 2 little children inside.
Your post reminds me of the time i heard about "Baby P" which was a baby who was beaten to death by his parents and was one of the most horrifying types of abuse especially to a new born. why take a child's life? your not getting anything out of it.

What is this world coming too? I personally don't have kids but I guarantee you, no matter how low my life is, killing them will never be an option. This guy clearly has problems.
"As a social worker took the young boys to their father's home, she was not let inside", this sentence stood out to me the most. I feel like the social worker could have done something to prevent this. She should have never let the kids go inside without her.
I don't agree with you when you say his a narcissist. I personally think he most likely just had problems whether mental or medical. Maybe he was suffering from depression or could have been possessed who knows, but him being narcissist I disagree.
This post has some sad news to say but with a good writer. Good job Cassandra can't wait ti'll your next post.
