K-ON!
K-on is an anime funded by TBS Japan shown in 2pm, 3pm est. It talks about 5 high school girls and how they live their high school life and they’re club called keionbu or translated to light music club. They instantly became a popular show in America and Japan due to their humor and music they produce. They may be only an animation the voice actors produced many albums and was ranked top 10 for best music of the year in Japan.
However sometimes I feel ashamed to know this because this show is a show for otaku’s or “no life” when translated. I really don’t want to be an otaku but somehow I am slowly but surely attracted to them. However sometimes I smile when I see or hear stuff like that, is it wrong to smile about something your ashamed to do? One part of me is going “wow this thing is awesome” another part is saying “dude grow up”.
I’m learning about science for my topic however I’m wondering more about: “K-on” this week. I was researching this online and I found a wikipedia article about k-on because I was suppose to do an annotation about an articles.
“Since then, Yui, bassist Mio Akiyama, drummer Ritsu Tainaka, and keyboardist Tsumugi Kotobuki spend their school practicing, performing, or just hanging out together.”
The quote is saying that this anime shows a typical high school student and a slice of life with a lot of humor involved. In my opinion I kind of like these animes because if you like that show, nevermind its a bad idea for me say this because if don’t really want to be an otaku.
