As Summer approaches the corner teens will be looking for Summer Jobs. In fact I am one of the teens who will be looking for a Summer job. As college grows nearer and nearer it is almost crucial to get a headway for some extra cash, as we all will be the typical broke college student. This may be a slight problem for students with not much experience in the age group of 16-19.  Recent research suggests that the job market for 16-19 year old crown could be in the tightest since the 1950's. "As discretionary spending plunges, the retail and restaurant jobs that are typically filled by teens are being eliminated, according to Challenger. Even the number of internships and lifeguard positions is thinning as teens compete with a larger pool of more experienced applicants who are desperate for jobs and willing to take a pay cut." Says the LA times.  We can only hope that opportunities arise in the next upcoming months for students to get jobs. Unfortunately as this article reads it is not looking very positive!
