I'm learning more about anime right now, and in particular what I'm wondering about is: Why is anime interesting? As I was reading in my Google Reader, this blog post caught my attention because the tittle of the blog is "Kinokuniya Goes KRAZY! for Anime on March 15" kinokuniya is a bookstore that sells japanese books.

The quote I chose here is basically saying there is going to be a lot of people at Kinokuniya at the 15th because of anime day

I think this is a crazy event because Anime day is pointless no need to make it a day, i mean sure the event sounds fun but a day for it? Also it said Friday march 15 o.0

Books Kinokuniya's flagship New York City store will be crawling with cosplayers, anime and manga fans on Sunday, March 15, 2009 as the folks behind New York Anime Festival will be celebrating Anime Day.

Sure, every day can be anime day if you try, but this particular celebration is especially timely since it's partly to celebrate the opening of KRAZY! The Delirious World of Anime + Manga + Video Games at the Japan Society Gallery, an eye-popping, multimedia exhibit featuring the cultural collision of graphic novels, manga, anime, video games and fine art. The exhibit opens on Friday, March 15 and continues through June 14, 2009.
