Kobe Bryant
I just read a Wikipedia article: “Kobe Bryant”
Kobe Bryant. (2012, September 12). In Wikipedia, The Free Encyclopedia. Retrieved 14:51, September 19, 2012, from http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kobe_Bryant&oldid=512033457
I love this article because... not only is Kobe Bryant my favorite basketball player he's also one of my two idols. I found this article very interesting because I learned more than I thought about Kobe. Its tell way more than about his history and even his childhood.
One sentence from this article that stands out for me is: " During the All-Star weekend, Bryant was the winner of the 1997 Slam Dunk Contest, becoming the youngest player to be named the slam dunk champion at the age of 18." I find this cool because... I didn't know this before so it comes to me as a surprise being that the first year he got to the NBA he got drafted and won the 1997 slam dunk contest. Therefore I feel like Kobe Bryant came into the NBA a raising star.
I'm pretty sure this is accurate, because I did more research to prove the statement of Kobe Bryant was true. “http://www.nba.com/news/kobe_ultimate.html” shows videos and other articles that can prove the information was correct
Another sentence that I
I double-checked this fact through other sites I had research such as “Career statistics and player information from NBA.com (http:/ / www. nba. com/ playerfile/ kobe_bryant), or Basketball-Reference.com (http:/ / www. basketball-reference. com/ players/ b/ bryanko01. html), which makes me feel pretty sure that it is true.
What I learned from this article is Kobe has a long list of accomplishments in his previous history. Some questions that I had about him has been answer such as: where did the name Kobe come from? and I found out that he was named after a chinese culture dish that his parents liked. I also read that his Mom and his Dad also persuade in a career in NBA and WNBA which now we know where all the basketball skills came from lol. I wanted to know “ did kobe bryant get into any altercations with other basketball players.
