korean gardens

 A few weeks ago my classmates and I went to the Korean gardens were we walked around interviewed and took pictures of the surrounding area.We were there on a project fro English that I have no clue why we were there but we were.When we were walking around we tried to interview many people there but it was hard because they either didn't want to be interviewed or they didn't speak English. But in the end we got one quote from a Korean guy in the gardens I don't know his name so I will call him Korean man.

    The quote that he said was " I have been coming to the garden for 15 years"

 
  Hearing this quote just made me think just how long have these gardens been here and how many of the people there live in and around flushing. I mean is this a thing that only Korean know about or do other people in the area know about the garden like they know about the Botanical Gardens.I guess that we would have to ask around the area to know.

  Another quote that stuck out to me from the Korean Gardens was an old Korean lady who was farming at the time and when we interviewed her she was very engaged in what she was planting it was lettuce doing but still talked to us.

   what she said was" I have come hear alot and we sometimes sell the food that we grow"

    Seeing this quote again it made me understand why some of the people go there and are not planting and why some are planting. I never knew that they sold some of the vegetables that they grew maybe it is extra income for some of the people there. Would you sell the food you grew at the gardens or would you just grow for just your family.

   We had fun going to the korean gardens even though it did rain.
