My podcast play list has a general theme of school related tools that could possibly help, one of my favorite classes is science so I first looked for podcasts that were health or generally related to science. I also looked for Pod casts that could help me improve vocabulary because this year I have to take the SAT's and this could certainly be used to help some one else. Finally, I found a podcast about student updates, which is very helpful because student news is very important. I have a school related theme because, school is a very big part of my life right now and anything that can help me improve in any areas is helpful.

1.)  Health and Medicine
    This series is organized as a list in I tunes according to date the most recent being at the top and the least recent further down the list. The website that the Pod casts are from are listed according to what type of Pod cast it is for example audio and video, it then can be categorized into specific topics according to what topic you want to listen to like medicine our even certain diseases. Trends that are in these podcasts are according to what you are listening to scientific terms and medical terms are often used in the show while they are talking about a given subject, these terms help explain and can help strengthen your understanding of that topic. This is relavent for ITGS becasue we are studying pod casts, and these pod casts serve as a helpful tool to study something you are learning to go further into the topic or it can be used as a news source to learn new things that are happening in Science/ Health.

2.) SAT Vocabulary
    This website has alot of podcast on many different subjects, it is organized into different areas, this happens to be the Improvement area where I decided to Look at the Improvement of Vocabulary for the SAT's. Each show is listed next to it there are approximately 4-5 of the latest shows and it also says at the bottom when the last time all the shows has been updated. The main them in these pod casts are to teach you as many new words as they can, some choose to do this in the form of a song and some just explain the words in other ways so that many people can understand it. Again this can be a valuable tool for a student who is struggling with vocabulary, podcasting is a valuable tool that is becoming more and more popular. Podcasts can be utilized as helpful learning tools.

3.)  Student News
    This is a general start for finding podcasts you can serach for podcasts by title topic or by main pod casts that are held daily, I watched the Student news podcast video, when you click on what you want to watch all of the shows appear in a list and each one has a title on what it is about, this list is updated daily with new shows. There are different things that appear in each show but everything relates to the life of a student. This is helpful for ITGS students becasue again this is a usefull tool to stay in touch with what is going on that affects all other students in many different schools.
