People shouldnt be doing drugs in the first place. Drugs are something that shouldnt be done in the first place and drugs doesnt help you at all, it just destroys your body and makes your life even more difficult. As said in this blog post that schools should have greater responsibility than parents to prevent these kids from drug abuse activities. I do not agree with this quote of what they are saying. Parents I think should have more responsibility in making sure that their kids are not doing drugs or anything, not the teachers. The teachers should teach them that is bad but the parents are the ones that should tell their kids the most not to do drugs. People think that teachers should be more responsible, but it is not their own kids so they cant tell them what not to do and what to do as well. Teachers should tell them not to do it, but if they dont listen it is up to their parents decisions. I don't know why kids would be doing drugs in the first place.
The debate motion of last night’s competition was “Schools should have greater responsibility than parents to prevent students from engaging in drug abuse activities”. Team members put forward their arguments from the points of views of values, law, psychology and the responsibilities and influences of schools and parents on their children, La Salle College beat 60 local and Macau secondary schools and won a cash prize as well as a trip to Beijing, visiting a local university and debating with its school team.
