Letter to Steve
Dear Steve
Steve you recently got accepted into college and now started using drugs. I know you would deny this but it is a fact. You cannot hide the fact that you are doing it, it has become quite clear. I don’t understand; your life was perfect, why did you start using drugs? I wonder what triggered this and if someone did influence you, I must find out who. It happened so fast, my once successful son has now become what others consider to be a bad influence. It makes me question myself as a good father. It seems like I failed you and failed as a good parent. Although you started using drugs, it will not change the fact that I still love you. I will always be here so feel free to talk to me about anything. I don’t want you to hesitate; if something is bothering you, I want you to tell me because we can fix it. You don’t always have to resort to drugs. Everyone has a bad time in their life, and right now I know you are but that doesn’t mean you should just give in, you must keep fighting because eventually things will work out well. If you every need a hand Steve, I’m right here.
Love, Dad
