The popular Disney movie, The Lion King, was release in 1994. Today, for a limited time only, there are showing of the movie with 3D features. When the movie was first release it became one of Disney’s most successful movies. From this movie sparked multiple entertainment outlets like a movie soundtrack and Broadway production. Before the release there was massive hype about the movie do to the enticing family-film aspect. Little kids, parents, grandparents, and whole families enjoyed the movie.
Why a second release of the movie? The same classic movie will be viewed with a modern twist, 3D glasses. Hopefully appealing to a new generation, Disney will be able to remind viewers of the story of transformation and responsibility Simba goes through. “They can take home as a reminder of Disney’s epic story about the cub that would be king.”
