Living up to life

Hunger by Lan Samatha Chang:Many years ago the girl lived in Taipei with her parents when they were visited by a thief. Anna and Ruth and the other girls were there as well and they never complained about the money problem or the time the family had to spent together. Anna could see that her sister past the one that didnt want to listen, she lacked disobedience, laziiness, and poor behavior. The girl was getting married.

I am liking Hunger, by Lan Samantha Chang because this book is really interesting because it is hard to know that Anna's sister is not obedient or anything and she is lazy most of the time. An example of what I mean is on page 95."He would not say her name." Whenever I looked at her, I saw the violinist that she might be. I saw past her poor behavior, her disobedience, her laziness, and I could see it, brilliance, like a star. I think this is important because this is really good that Anna's sister is looking past all her misbehaviors and one day seeing her as a violinist and how could she would be when she is grown up.

Something interesting happens on page 99 where it says: "I asked her if she wanted something to drink. Do you mind if I smoke?." This is a important point in the plot because it is really bad to smoke and why would she ask if she wants to smoke or not. My personal inquiry is on drugs and drugs can kill your body in many ways. Drugs can also make you do stupid things that you don't even know that you are doing. People go crazy when they don't smoke enough and all they do is abuse it and live on it.

So far, the plot in Hunger reminds me of a story in the news. What happened was that a lot of people have been taking drugs and talking about the different type of drugs as well. Many people say that perscription drugs are more dangerous than regular drugs, but that is not true because most of the drugs that you take can kill you and kill your body so that is why the doctors also tell you not to eat so much of the pills that they purscribe you.

I am looking forward to reading the rest of this book because this book is really interesting and I want to see if Ruth is going to start listening and everything and how she is going to reach to what Anna tells her to do and also to see if she can become a violinist when she grows up. What's probably going to happen next is the summer time has came and then every summer the family would get together on the back porch and have a great time and chat with each other about their experiences. They family heard about stories of the ghosts that drowned and everything. It scared them, but they did not fear anything at all. The family was really brave and helped each other out.
