Llife Wartime
Today my group member was Luis we didn't have an idea to work with. We started to look for board games that were really popular. We couldn't use Monopoly since Shantanu already used it. So we had to pick out a different board game. At first Luis wanted to make up a game using Yu-gi-oh cards. He wanted to play cards and how different monsters got different abilities just like humans. But we weren't able to connect it to an issue that happened. As we were looking for board games I found the game called "Life". Luis knew the game I was, so it was good for us to know a game that we both knew how to play. Today we didn't pick a topic because it was to late.

Today we decided to use the
Today we decided to use the game "Life". This game is well known for its competition of what could happen to the course of someone life. In connection of this game we decided to change the idea of not only living life as many people do, but also creating it so there would be the challenges of being in war. The game the setting would be in Afghanistan. We as Americans know there have been a lot of wars happening there. Therefore we came up with a topic about how someone be able to escape war if it they living at that time. So in order for us to make that connection we would have to find information of actual events that happened in Afghanistan. But today we got a new group member called "Nick". He said he was going to be our researcher. So he would have to research about some wars that happened in Afghanistan. Therefore Luis would have to be the designer and create the game itself.

Today Luis came with his designed and showed me what he has been working on. He made steps about how the game board would actually want to look like. But we have a problem about fining the game. That’s because Luis found a game board that he took the boards step out off. But we weren’t able to find a name, or the actual game board. Therefore we don’t know how would we be able to explain it to anyone. But also Nick found out a website about the tragedy that happened in Iraq. Therefore from that website we are going to create spaces from that, and use it in the game. We are going to use it in a way that would affect the player to lose a turn, or to get back 3 spaces. But we are also doing this so it would be easy for anyone person to win so easily. Also we want to spread the word about what had happened in Iraq, since it was never talked about in the U.S.
After I played your game I
After I played your game I felt that I both learned alot of interesting facts as well as that it was a very enticing game. The game to me was a mixture of both a learning experience and also an enjoyable one. Some of the things I learned through this experience of playing your game is that many of the soldiers who are in Iraq today face many similar problems such as being killed by roadside bombings and keeping injured severly. Also through my experience of playing this game I thought that your gae was very challenging since it required me to avoid being killed as well as trying to get ahead of my oppopnents. I though that your game was very fun and I would recommend it to anyone.

I think I played your game. It was really cool. It was challenging and simple at the same time. At some times in the game, I landed on a good spot were I would go on, but sometimes, I had to go back spaces, lose a turn or game over. When it was game over for me, I was frustrated. A classmate also played this game and when he was one or two spaces away from winning, he got the card saying game over. He was really mad. Is this your game that I am talking about? I found your game easy to
I found your game easy to play, but difficult as well. What I liked is that there is no need for game knowledge to play the game. Anyone can play it. I also like how you made it hard for a person to win. The cards have bad effects, and some are deadly. I think that this game is balanced to me. I preffer games that are challenging, but not too challenging that they make the chances of winning one out of a million. I thought this game was just right .
A few days ago, my 5 friends
A few days ago, my 5 friends and I played Life Wartime. It was quite interesting and we all had quite a laugh, especially when one of the players got GAME OVER and when I was sent back to the beginning due to a card. The one slight issue I had was with the playing pieces. They were all paper and were blown around much too easily. Some of the cards were also slightly illegible, so printing them might be a better choice next time. Otherwise, it's a good game and a fun time waster with friends.

I played your game and it was clear and I have to admit: IT WAS THE BEST BOARD GAME I EVER PLAYED ME AND MY FRIENDS DID NOT WANT TO STOP PLAYING. You guys were awesome and made the game perfect. I din't really learn anything other than the fact that there are many casualties. The only thing in game is the one improvment we made that made it even better. IF you want to win you must roll the exact amount you need or else you move back the extra spaces. I loved your game.
