Lu Hsun, Chinese Mood Writer
The essay Lu Hsun wrote, "An Incident" was very interesting. That is because you describe a everyday living of most people from work to accidents. Also on how some people who acts tough and crazy have a warm heart and do the right thing. This character of his is one of those kind of person since he is nice and self centered at once.
One line that I liked was, "A bitter north wind was blowing, but, to make a living, I had to be up and out early." I like this sentence because this show that this man is a hard working man who wants to make a living. He don't care what the weather is like since all he wants to do is make some money to keep him alive and well. With this sentence I can tell it is winter at the location he is at.
Another sentence I like from the story was that, "Without thinking, I pulled a handful of coppers from my coat pocket and handed then to the policeman. "Please give him these," I said." This shows that even though he was offered a free ride from his home to the station, he still gave the rickshaw the money. Even though he did not think of doing this, he still did it because he knows it is the right thing to do.
I would like to read more of his essay. That is because it interests me a lot since nowadays people don't write stories about nice people that are around the world. Also the way he describe the situation was so.... descriptive and I can tell right away what he is trying to tell me. I read that sentence.
