The making of myself.........(G2G)
As I sit here thinking about the years that flew by,
In a month or two this classroom will become a blur,
As I step up to my future, college awaits, my dreams unlocked,
I'll leave behind my friends, these teenage fantasies, for my future awaits.
One day surely I'll have to move on, packing away these memories
I have dreams awaiting, a career that needs accomplishing, a successful future yes indeed.

I really enjoyed your poem
I really enjoyed your poem "Thinking of myself...(G2G)" because it speaks the truth and others can relate to it. As we grow up these are things we think about and have to go through.
A sentence that stood out to me is "One day surely I'll have to move on, packing away these memories", it mainly stood out to me because in reality one day we will have to move forward and everything will become memories we eventually realize how we are older and have to apperciate our memories we once had.
Another sentence that stood out to me was "As I step up to my future, college awaits, my dreams unlocked", the closer we get to our future dreams we had as we planed to go to college and other events we finally experience something new.
Your poem "Thinking of myself...(G2G) reminds me of my own self my thinking my future and how eventually as I said our past becomes memories we let go but hold on too.
