Malcolm understands the lifehood judeges
The Autobiography of Malcolm X by Malcolm X and Alex Haley: Malcolm finds out that his education in learning made him understand the past towards the present. He continues to talk to Islam religion and finds out the racial problems. He finds out that whites have been raising blacks as slaves through segregation. Malcolm changes the way he looks at things in philosophy and realizes the understanding of racism and what it is really about. He believes that Allah has helped him to bring his will through suffering and sin.
I think The Autobiography of Malcolm X, by Malcolm X and Alex Haley is sad because everyone is just going through all these racial problems and especially for Malcolm having to deal with all of this at a young certain amount of age. Malcolm converges into Islam which I think is really cool of what he is doing because he is trying something new and trying to learn more about the racial problems and issues.
A passage from pages #130 - #131 that seems important is: "Sam let me hold his .32. My guns were at my apartment. I put the .32 in my pocket with my hand on it and walked out." I think this is creepy because it is really freaky when someone is holding a gun and you don't know what is really happening and going to go on. Also why would they be wanting to hold a gun and everything. Is it like they are going to shoot someone?
Another part that I disliked was: "A hustler broke needs a stake. Some nights when Shorty was playing I would take whatever Sophia had been able to get for me and I'd try to run it up into something, playing stud poker at John Hughes gambling house." This is an example of something important in this book. It shows that a lot of people are gambling and everything which is a bad thing to do and people should not be gambling or anything because a lot of people lose their money that way. Cant people find something better else to do?
This section of The Autobiography of Malcolm X reminds me of movie. In "Wanted" there were people gambling for money and everything and a lot of people lost their money as well just off of gambling. People are really stupid to do that and I think that they did the wrong thing because a lot of people can get hurt. In the movie Wanted this girl was kidnapped and everything for gambling problems and stuff.
What's probably going to happen next is that Malcolm tells the story about his life and everything and how his youth life really was. He tells about his understanding experiences and also recognizes the different categories between the whites and of their own personal judegment of human personalities. Malcolm conveys his understanding and that his early lifehood attitudes towards race and life experiences.
I am looking forward to reading the rest of this book because I want to find out what is really going on and what Malcolm has really learned about the life experiences and how the different catergories are changing between lifehood judgements and the different categories.
