Mall Of America
This past weekend I went to Minnesota to visit my cousin at college. She knew I loved to shop so she took me to the Mall of America which is located about 15 minutes from Minneapolis. I knew that this was the biggest mall in America, but I soon came to realize that big is an understatement. There were hundreds of stores and there were even multiple roller coasters in the middle. I wanted to learn more about the history and certain facts about the store, so I went mallofamerica.com It was opened in 1992 after 3 years of construction. The Minnesota Vikings and Twins previously played on the land that is now occupied by Mall of America. But after they moved in 1989, the state of Minnesota decided to build the largest retail and entertainment complex. It costs 650+ million cost to build. But

My cousin and I were able to make it around one lap of one level in the mall. That was .57 of mile. I discovered that 7 Yankee Stadiums can fit into the mall. You probably won't understand how big this mall is until you see for yourself! Check it out!
