March Madness
The March Madness tournament has finally started, and college basketball has never been more exciting. It's the time of year when underdog teams beat the national powerhouse, and lesser-known players make a name for themselves. The month of March is always the month of limbo between the new year, and summertime. It seems to drag on as we await summer, but March Madness helps reduce this. Every night after school, work, sporting events, etc we can go home knowing that eating some food and watching some basketball is always possible. Nothing is more relaxing than watching some competitive college basketball, and it makes life all the more enjoyable.
Some people complain about the college basketball tournament, saying that they couldn't care less about it, or that they know nothing about college basketball. Although this may make watching the games a bit interesting, it gives people a reason to always be hanging out and watching the game with their friends. Watching teams like Virginia Commonwealth University upset big number one and two teams, is all part of the experience. No one wants to see the powerhouse team destroy everyone in their path, but rather see hard-fought games won by the unexpected cinderella team. March Madness is a beloved time to watch college basketball, and to enjoy the skill of the many collegiate athletes before they become pompous and enter into the NBA.

Dear Oelsner20:
I enjoyed your post “March Madness” because I agree with the post and what it attempted to say. I also appreciate it because it is informative. A sentence that stood out to me is “Some people complain about the college basketball tournament, saying that they couldn't care less about it, or that they know nothing about college basketball.” because that is very true. Another sentence that stood out is “No one wants to see the powerhouse team destroy everyone in their path, but rather see hard-fought games won by the unexpected cinderella team.” This is interesting because it is very true. I agree with Oelsner20. Thanks for writing. I look forward to see what you write next because your posts are very interesting and they are also very insightful.

Dear Josh:
I enjoyed your post March Madness because it was interesting. It was interesting to learn about different people opinions about basketball. Another reason this interesting is because I also watch the NCAA basketball tournament. It was shocking to see my team “Duke” get eliminated so quick. One sentence you wrote that stands out for me was “It's the time of year when underdog teams beat the national powerhouse, and lesser-known players make a name for themselves.” I agree with this sentence because in the NCAA basketball tournament you can never see the outcome.
Another sentence you wrote that stands out for me was “Some people complain about the college basketball tournament, saying that they couldn't care less about it, or that they know nothing about college basketball.” I think people should watch the NCAA tournament because the players put a lot of heart into it. It’s not like their getting paid millions of dollars just to play. These players are fighting for that championship with nothing to lose.
Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because you write very interesting topics that I like to read about. If you write more things about the media I will definitely come back to visit. I also hope you write more things about sports since you were talking about the NCAA.

Dear Josh,
I really enjoyed your post, "March Madness", because it gives the chance for college players to shine on television just like the NBA stars. March Madness to me, is very competitive then NBA, because everyone is trying to make it to the top. To hold that beautiful shining trophy.
A sentence that you wrote that stood out to me was "Some people complain about the college basketball tournament, saying that they couldn't care less about it, or that they know nothing about college basketball." I agree with this statement because before I used to be apart of the group that didn't care about the college basketball. But as I came to become more intrested in it, I forgot that these shining NBA stars. Were all on March Madness trying to make the team that they were playing on to the top. Then they was drafted to the NBA.
Thank you for your post, it was very intresting and also very informing. I look foward into reading your next post. Will it be about basketball? Which team are you rooting for in this March Madness tournament? Thanks for posting

Dear oelsner20:
I agree with this post because I also think that college basketball games are very interesting to watch. One sentence that I agree with is, “ but rather see hard-fought games won by the unexpected cinderella team.” I agree with this post because I also believe that March Madness games is about teams that are unknown are given the chance to make themselves known by beating higher ranking teams.
Another sentence that I also agree with is, “It's the time of year when underdog teams beat the national powerhouse.” I agree with this statement because I believe March Madness is all about lower ranking teams proving themselves to the world, and that they are able to beat popular, higher ranking team.
This reminds me of the time when Duke got beaten by the team called Lehigh who were an underdog team, but the beat a very popular team, that everyone expected to beat this underdog team.
I enjoyed reading your post about college basketball, I hope I encouraged you to keep writing.
