Today, I played a game called The McDonald's Game. I found it at  http://mcvideogame.com/ . I got interested in this game because I found the category interesting, and it generally caught my interest because it included the name of a very popular fast food company, that exists and influences American lives daily.
The McDonald's Game is about engaging in the ongoing cycle of fast food production; the user is encouraged to begin by creating his own soy fields, as well as placing cattle (cows) to graze upon pastures (in an area located in South America, because the environment aids for effective production). While supervising the cattle population, used to make the delicious hamburgers for McDonald's, you have to give the animals hormones to increase the fat within their bodies. Later on, the fattened cows are killed, and hamburger patties are supplied to a McDonald's. It is then the user's job to hire workers and staff members to work in the fast food establishment, taking the public's orders. While doing so, the user has to check up with the company employees to supervise the profit rates and make sure everything is going according to plan. Money is the most important key aspect of this game; the user must avoid getting bankrupt, by falling into severe debt.

The game works like this: In order to play this game, you have to first: make sure you buy land to plant soy fields; make sure to place cattle upon pastures, for the production of meat. You are allowed to sell land (for money) and you are allowed to produce genetically modified plants , for increased production rates. As you continue supervising your resources, the cows are then fed food; you have the capability of adding hormones into the food, in order to increase the amounts of fat gained by the animals you have. If the cows fall ill, you have to destroy them, before slaughter. Moving onto the McDonald's restaurant itself, you must hire workers to make the food, and for making orders. Once you hire the staff members, customers automatically begin to rush in and the food is then sold. It all depends upon the amount of money you make. While playing the game, it is important to look at the amount of hamburgers left, the number of cattle and resources you have, because anything can effect your production.

In order to be successful, you must remember the following: supervise every one of your sections; keep a close mind on your money rates; supervise your cattle and soy production, because their is an interdependence found within the sources used (cows eat the soy); must make sure your workers are motivated.

I disliked playing because initially, I would always fall bankrupt and I would fail to win the game. Up to this point, I haven't even won once; yet i am learning each step of the way. One thing I disliked, was trying to make way for more production, along with regulating the resources. I had to look past the limitations of the situation (amount of land, budget, etc). I just thought it needed a bit more fun and action; i felt it plainly incorporated steps of producing fast food and ways of sustaining the production for money.
