McDonalds: The Game Should Give More Ideas to the Food Company
Today, I played a game called McDonald's: The video game. I found it at http://mcvideogame.com/. I got interested in this game because I initially thought that it was a game where the player must create the food product from scratch, not plan its production (a business game in the end).
McDonald's is about the process of going through the production of food, and how to balance out the spending and making "money system" found in most up-to-date games. It is a game where the player must first take control of a farm land, and produce farm animals (essentially cows) and produce a reasonable amount of food so as to balance the productions out. The game punishes over production and also if the player doesn't follow supply and demand (creation and production, with needs).
The game works like this: The player initially has a set amount of money, and he/she spends a fair amount of that money to stop and set farm land to creating food supplies for cows, or to actually raise cows. After that the player must take control of one of the many franchises, and see if he/she can run the restaurant. It is essential to make sure the customers as well as the workers are satisfied, otherwise the game will punish the player severely and he/she will go bankrupt.
I liked playing McDonald's because it is a fun and interesting game. There are a few small humors in the game, and it promotes to the players strategy abilities and how he/she can start and run a successful business. It is nice to see how a replica of a bad fast food company has been brought up in a game, and how its a fun game for everyone.
