Message in a bottle
This part was totally different from the book. After Teressa came back to Boston after her first visit. She told Deanna what had happened in her trip. Also she found roses send by Garrett for her in her office. Then after a few weeks Teressa visited him again with Kevin. Garrett taught Kevin how to dive and every thing. Kevin liked Garrett and Garrett also like Kevin because he was a well behaved kid and he wasn't spoiled like many other kids.
I am reading Message in a Bottle by Nicholas Sparks. I liked his other books better then this one because they were more realistic then this one. They changed a lot of the stuff because in the movie Teressa doesn't go to visit Garrett with Kevin. So they cut a big part there.
Something interesting happens on page 249 where it says: "Kevin looked at Teressa with wide eyes, she couls almost read his thoughts.... " This is a important point in the plot because it this shows that Kevin likes Garrett for doing all the great thing for him. When Kevin goes back to Boston he will be really proud to tell his friends about his trip.
So far, the plot in Message in a bottle reminds me of a story my mom told be about a single mother and how her step father treated her child. What happened was that the guy's family didn't like the fact the the girls already had a child but the guy was liked her a lot and he loved the kid because the kid was the reason they meet. So he fought with his family to be with them.
I am looking forward to reading the rest of this book because I heard the the ending was different from the movie but I don't know how. So I wanna read to rest of the book to fing out how its different.
