Microsoft Phone 7 Series turns Apple iPHONE into apple i-sauce

Microsoft recently unveiled the Phone 7 Series, and as a Zune user I am greatly anticipating the actual release in the upcoming holiday season. I appreciate what Apple has done with the ipod and iphone, but in looking for a fuller experience that is not just functional, but entertaining to use as well, Microsoft has created a much more interactive and "fun" User-Interface (UI). This video demonstrates the format that will feel very familiar to Zune HD users, of which I am one, that uses headings called "hubs" to open up options for that category. For instance the 'game' hub allows XBOX users to access their profiles, etc, and demonstrates the newly available full integration across music, gaming, and now calling and texting. The Music hub will allow almost all the Zune HD features to function, and from what I have seen the Zune pass will work also.

This Zune pass is one of the most intriguing features for Zuners; it is a subscription that for 15 bucks a month allows you to download unlimited, and I repeat, unlimited music and keep 10 downloads permanently per month. As long as you subscribe all the music will be accessible, and if you unsubscribe, those 10 songs per month will still be yours to keep.\

Microsoft is crossing lines between different media sectors from gaming to music, and with the release of the Windows 7 phone, those wanting a sleek, enjoyable, integrated, aesthetically pleasing and not just functional way to connect will finally be satisfied.
