My topic is about video games. What made me interested in my topic is the video games of course. Also, I’m running a competition with my friend on who has better points on whether video games are good or not. Some of the questions I hope to answer during my research is if video games have some good advantages. I already learned that it can improve your memory and that is something people say I have: a good memory. What I hope to argue in my topic is that video games don’t make you into a bad person; video games can help you gain skills or be better at things.

Some interesting things I have found about video games is that video games can help you gain better reflexes or gain some particular skill like being persistent. One theory that I have come across is that video games make you more creative. I do think this is true because now you have games like “Draw Something” that make you draw out words. One thing that I did not like is that analysts say that the prices of video games are going to be higher in the next year do to technology getting better. One question that I do hope to find is do the disadvantages and advantages of video games cancel out?

The research for my topic has been extremely easy. It has been extremely easy for me because I do play video games and I am interested in this topic. the success that I have found doing my research is that in every source that I find I can either relate to it or understand what they are saying. The difficulty that I have during my research is that there is not that much diverse between the sources all the sources basically say the same thing. what I hope to achieve during my final paper is that I want to show everyone that video games are not just bad for you, but they have some beneficial things to them.

It's nice to see you writing about a topic that clearly interests you personally. You've asked great questions to jump start your research, and I know your findings will be great!

As an old person who hasn't thought about video games since reaching Koopa's Castle in Mario 3 (circa 1995), I'm looking forward to learning a lot more about your conclusions!
