To continue the summary for the book “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo,” Armansky, is leaving his magazine company and suddenly gets a call from Vagner‘s lawyer. Vagner was a CEO of a large corporation. He wants Armansky to have a meeting with Vagner, so Armansky reluctantly goes to this man for this unusual meeting. He arrives and he starts to talk to the old man. Vagner tells him about his family history and requests Armansky to write a book on them. He also mentions he knew Armansky’s family and tells him about the murder that occurred to Harriet, his daughter. He also requested Armansky to find the murderer.

"Now we come to the real reason I wasnt to hire you. I want you to find out who in this family murdered Harriet,a nd who since then has been slamost forty years trying to drive me insane."

My reaction to the quote was curiousity. From that excerpt, I was very interested in the book and I was happy because, I love murder mysteries, so when I found out this remarkable story had to do with a murder, that made me become motivated to find out the real truth.
