Most Interesting From Research
The most interesting thing I learned during my research project was about Jung's theory on the collective unconscious. He proposed that we were all born with an innate knowledge, inherited by virtue of our humanity. In this unconscious are collected all archetypes, or primordial ideas and patterns of thought, which cause us "to experience things in a certain way" (Boeere). Deja-vu would be a phenomenon explained by the theory according to Jung. Dreams, recurring symbols, and myths are a manifestation of the buried contents of the collective unconscious as interpreted consciously by man. The symbols in tarot could trigger, or tap into this unconscious as well.
