The Most Interesting things I've learned in High School

The last four years have gone by so fast at times, and as slow as a snail at others. There have been many memories, but also things I wish I could forget.
I think one of the most interesting things I've learned at Judge came from my anatomy class. Not many high school students get the chance to dissect a pig, but here at Judge, I was able to experience this. This dissection was so interesting because of how similar the fetal pig's body was to ours. Also, seeing all of the body parts that I have only learned about in class was very interesting. However, the smell that the pigs were preserved in was disgusting and I am still reminded of the smell every now and then.

Another interesting thing that I have learned is how to diagram sentences in Latin. At the beginning of my Freshman year and I started in latin I, I didn't know much about Latin and what it entails. However, after having 3 years of education in Latin, i feel more confident with my English. I am able to diagram sentences better. Also, Latin roots are very common in many present day words, so I am able to use what i have learned in latin to figure out the meaning of a word that looks unfamiliar to me.

I have many other interesting learning experiences and lessons that i have acquired throughout my high school career. I am so appreciative for all of the memories I have saved from Judge.
