Mugged by Thugs

Mugged by Thugs
I saw these fools in some cool cars,
They looked at me like I was from mars,

I saw one pull out a switch,
I knew it was time for me to ditch,

I was running down the street with some bare feet,
I stepped on some glass that cut up my feet,

I did not care, it was better than being slashed,
So I kept going, I dashed

I didn’t want it to end, I didn’t want to die,
I was scared, but I didn’t cry,

The adrenaline pumping through my veins,
As I ran I was switching lanes,

I ran into someones house for some help,
Then I heard a loud noise, it was a yelp,

The people at the house called the police,
I said no no no, I’m begging you please,

They didn’t care and they hit me in the head,
And the next thing I know I woke up in a bed,

I went to the town jail,
Why does my life always fail,

This wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for those thugs,
I guess I rather have been mugged.

Dear Shelby, I very much

Dear Shelby,
I very much enjoyed your poem. It's very suspenseful.
"I didn’t want it to end, I didn’t want to die,
I was scared, but I didn’t cry," that is #blessed.

Make a audio recording for it.

I enjoyed reading this, but cannot quite feel the emotion as you might. It would be awesome if you could create a recording of yourself saying this.
