About a week ago, my family went to the newly built Museum of Natural History. When we arrived at the museum, I was astounded by its beauty. It blended in with the magnificent Wasatch mountains behind it.

We started through the dinosaur exhibit and I have never seen so many complete dinosaurs in my life. It was cool to see the all the different types and how big and how small the dinosaurs were.

Next we went to the Early life exhibit. This exhibit included early human life. I enjoyed seeing the evolution of the human and of the human pottery. Another cool part of this exhibit was that they had interactive stations in which you could smell different plants and touch different rocks.

The next exhibit demonstrated all about current life and ecosystems. I really could have used this exhibit last year during AP biology because it showed almost everything I learned.

The final exhibit was a view of the whole valley from the top of the building. It was a beautiful site and one of my favorite parts of the day.

I think museums can do a good job of teaching and informing people of the world. The Museum of Natural History did a great job in making history fun and interesting!
