                There are many different types of music. Rock, metal, classical, rap, jazz; there are many different kinds. Everyone likes different types of music. People from other countries might like completely different types of music that might sound like just noise to us. Everyone likes some type of music. Some people play music and become famous for it. Some surround themselves with music based on their feelings. Some people usually only listen to music in the car or during work. But why? Why do we love music so much? Who created the 1^st song? The 1^st beat? How old is music? Who had the idea to bang their hands on rocks and try to make different sounds?

            I had no idea music was so old! I knew it was ancient but 82,000 years ago or longer? Music has come a long way, from being made from bones and sticks to polished wood and steel. Many instruments have been created and the use of electricity also plays a major part in instrumental sounds. Music is one of the oldest arts that is still alive today.
