My First impression of Animal Farm
Animal Farm by George Orwell seems to me, to be another great book of injustice, and a ruined idea of a utopia. The novel starts out with the leader of the animals on “Animal Farm” giving a speech on the inequality that lives in the relationship between the humans and the animals. They have all seen this oppression from their owner “Jones”, who is a drunk, and a miserable farmer.
Just by reading the first chapter of this book you can see how this will end up a classic story of tyranny. The preface tells you that this book is based on Stalin's rule over communist USSR. So when reading the beginning of the book, you can already feel the oppression that is about to unfold onto the unexpected animals.
